Delphine Elmerich is Responsible for Clinical Quality Excellence

Mont-Saint-Guibert, Belgium (April 1, 2021): Tools4Patient (T4P), a developer of predictive tools to optimize and accelerate drug development, recently named Delphine Elmerich as Quality Assurance Director. In her new role, Delphine is responsible for the maintenance of the existing Tools4Patient’s clinical quality assurance strategy and shaping and deploying that strategy to support T4P’s goals.

The addition of Delphine to T4P’s expanding team reflects the company’s commitment to building and maintaining a robust quality program, which is central to its goal of being a trusted partner providing predictive tools to biopharmaceutical companies. Delphine works with T4P’s operational and scientific groups to support software and clinical-related activities for programs conducted with sponsors or as part of the company’s R&D activities. She ensures that T4P remains in compliance with international requirements for software validation, good clinical practice and data protection, and she oversees regional/global audits. One of Delphine’s first goals will be to achieve ISO 9001:2015 certification.

“Delphine’s extensive background in early phase clinical trial and quality management make her well prepared to identify and resolve quality issues and to ensure that T4P meets and exceeds international regulations and industry guidances,” says Dominique Demolle, CEO, Tools4Patient. “Delphine’s role is essential to Tools4Patient’s growth and success as we continue to provide innovative solutions to advance drug development.”

Prior to joining T4P, Delphine was Quality Assurance Director for a consulting clinical research Organization (CRO) dedicated to Early Clinical Development and Clinical Pharmacology studies, where she worked in increasingly responsible positions since 2007. Prior to that, she was Clinical Development Associate/Clinical Research Associate for Eli Lilly and Company. Delphine earned a Master of Engineering and Health Management from University Lille II-ILIS, France and a Master 2nd year in Health Management, Pharmacy University of Montpellier, France

Delphine is a board member of AFPT-Le Club Phase I, the French Association of Early Phase Clinical Development. She also is a member of the Research Quality Association (RAQ) and Healixia, a Belgian community of all professionals active along the life cycle of medicines, medical devices, in vitro diagnostics and other health-related products (convergence between ACRP, BAPU, BeAPP and BRAS) .
